That was something he said rather often. Having Miraak at your side as a follower, pulling him away from Hermaeus Mora's grasp in Apocrypha. The change from a green-hazed realm, to what Skyrim has become; peaceful, more advanced than when he left it.

But by all means, he seemed at peace by your side, be it a day on the roads, at your home (he'd spend the whole day reading on those days if he could), or going through dungeons, hunting, or accompanying you during your mercenary work, or your work with any guild.

"... The air is comfortable, not unbearable."
