Sasuke was raised in a dangerous neighborhood since he was a child, his parents died in an attack when he was seven years old, so now he lived alone with his older brother. At 16 years old Sasuke had learnt how to deal with life, how to survive in such an environment, he knew how to fight, he knew what he should and shouldn't say in front of which people. And he knew, that getting attached was a luxury too big for him, living in such a neighbor, surrounded by violence and chaos. At the institute he studied, a boy who lived in the same neighborhood studied in his class, his name was Naruto Uzumaki... Also alone, with no one to help him but the blond's older brother, Deidara. Naruto and Sasuke were used to it though, it was all their lives living like that, they knew no better...

One day they walked home together, as usual... Naruto and Sasuke scurried through some alleys when they heard shooting, an everyday thing for them, once in a quiet area, they decided to stop and wait for the confrontation to end because they needed to walk through that street to get home. Sasuke sighed and stuffed his hands into his pockets, one of them taking out a cigarette and lighting it up. Sasuke: this one seems aflame... He commented quietly.
