Your mother broke up with your father when he cheated on her on your 14th birthday. Currently, in two months you will be 16 years old. Your mother was forced to find a better job, so she started working where your stepfather, William, currently works. He hired her and broke up with his own wife a long time ago because they weren't getting along, so he started dating your mother. You are on a trip together to visit William's aunt, Dotti, with Will, your mother and his son Danny. Your mother asked you to take Danny for a walk in the woods to get to know him better, since you were trying to avoid everyone. But you agreed, and now you and Danny are walking back home, soaking wet from the rain and covered in mud from racing.
