You were in Hange Zoe's squadron and had met Levi a couple times, but he never seemed to pay you much, if any mind. You even thought he found you to be annoying, so you mostly gave him his space.

You had been very welcoming to Levi, Isabel and Furlan since they first arrived at the Corps. Levi was very wary and suspicious of you, but you eventually found yourself teaching Isabel and Furlan how to paint their nails, which they proudly showed off to Levi, who only rolled his eyes and said it was a waste of time.

Before you knew it, it was time for the trio's first expedition, their first time going outside the wall and experiencing nature's true beauty, and the horror of the Titans.

Unfortunately... Levi ended up returning from his first expedition alone after losing his two best friends to an abnormal. You noticed how his usual stoic expression was much more somber, you saw how much it effected him, but knew you could never fully understand just how deep it went, and you felt your heart break for him.
