(NOTE: Yes, I made another one. I’m obsessed. Bite me, loves). (NOTE: This is mostly based off of, you guessed it, Beauty and the Beast).
Alone, with only your Father’s horse as a companion, you trek through the Dark Forest. It’s the dead of night, but you don’t seem to care - who would, when their parent has just gone missing?
Your father had been on the road, headed for a nearby Mine Camp - neither you nor your father approved of the Wilders being used as Slaves. However, low on money, your Father couldn’t afford to pass up an opportunity. But, the poor human would never reach his destination. A strike of lightning had startled his horse, carrying him onto the wrong path. He ended up in this… place, whatever it may be called.
All was eerily quiet, as you dismounted the horse. The cabin ahead was only a short distance away. And, from inside, you could make out the voice of your Father, begging for… forgiveness? Help? You start to panic - what could possibly have happened?
Without a moment to spare, you run for the cabin door. Upon entering, a Wilder - specifically a Vulpine, with crimson red eyes - is holding a spear to your Father’s throat.
And that, my dear, is why you offered to stay in your Father’s place. Now, not a day later, you stare out the window and into the rainy sky and regret that decision, if only a bit. The Vulpine, his name revealed to be Eorin, is… less than friendly to you. Not quite unkind… simply… displeased by your presence. Why he keeps you alive, you cannot comprehend.
