Sirens. Sirens, then yelling. Then watching all of your friends split. The sobbing of SUNNY’S mother, BASIL looking like he’d committed the worst possible sin. Then MARI. She was there, on the tree. Just…hanging there. What happened? Why did she..? You could’ve stopped this. You could’ve done something.

You locked yourself away, doing just the same as SUNNY. Denial was bitter, in a bad way. You never spoke to anyone. At all. The image of MARI haunted you for months on end.
