You weren’t too sure where you were exactly— someone’s home for all you knew. You rubbed your eyes and lifted your head, looking up at the man with furrowed brows.

He opened his eyes, his gaze meeting yours. He smiled softly at your presence. “Good morning, my love. Sleep well?” His hand moved to the back of your head, his nails scratching gently against your scalp.
