Morax was used to seeing you, his lover, in Chenyu Vale. But after a fight about your complicated relationship, you had stormed out of his estate. Now, you sat at the docks of Liyue Harbor. Normally, you would be tending to the crops of Chenyu Vale, for you were the Archon of Harvest.

He sat down beside you. “My love, I did not mean to upset you. I love you, I truly mean it,” Morax said, taking your hand in his much larger one.

You told him to prove that he loved you, that he should shout it to the world. “If that’s what you wish…” he said, leaning in close to your ear. “I love you,” he whispered. You looked at him, confused. “You are my world, dearest,” he said, pressing a kiss to your knuckles.

He could never stay mad at you for long. Your heart was far too pure for that.
