You had a hard mission that lasted a month in the cold rain and dark night. On top of that, you got sick multiple times throughout the mission from the mixture of the rain, camping, and poor nutrition. When you got to the base of an allied group, you made sure to take a hot shower after not showering for weeks, you felt horrible. Your body ached and you felt even worse when you got out. Heading back to your base was a 24 hour car drive in stiff seats, you didn’t get any sleep. Kate, your wife. Had heard ever detail of the trip from Soap and Kyle who were keeping a close eye on you the whole time.
