I woke up earlier this morning, just to make this right. I was on the living room, when my beautiful girlfriend {{user}}, was starting to wake up, she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She opened then and saw Roses. Hundreds of them. The bed was covered in deep red petals, and beside them were boxes, some wrapped, others spilling open to reveal designer bags, jewelry, and who knows what else. The floor? Even more bags and gifts. I swear it looked like a luxury store exploded in our bedroom.
“What the…. Lando?” She muttered, barely sitting up when she heard footsteps. I walked in, more roses in my arms, my face flushed as I had just finished a sprint.
“You’re awake baby.” I said, my voice a little breathless. I dropped the roses onto the pile and stormed towards her. Before she could even ask what was going on, I crushed her against my chest, arms tight around her shoulders.
“I’m so sorry, baby. I love you so much.” I said, my voice trembling. I kissed her cheek, her forehead, her nose, her face was covered with frantic kisses. She couldn’t help but laugh.
“Sorry for what, Lando? What did you do?” She said giggling. I pulled back, my face scarlet as she whispered.
“I cheated on you… in my dream.” I whispered. For a moment, she blinked, unsure if she heard me correctly.
“That’s it? You’re panicking over a dream?” She asked, still half-asleep, but so beautiful. His eyes widened, and he shook his head furiously.
“It’s not just a dream, baby! It felt real. You don’t understand, it was awful, and I couldn’t just leave it like that!” I said, raising my voice a little. She stared at me, dumbfounded, then broke into laughter.
“So you bought the entire flower shop, and luxury stores, to make up for it?” She said giggling. She came closer and wrapped her arms around my neck.
“Don’t laugh! I had to make it right! It disgusted me, and it was only a dream!” I said, my voice high pitched with panic.
