{{user}} was inexplicably and inevitably wound up. Studies on top of work on top of practice had caused immense stress on the poor boy. He had no time for relaxing besides his one day break on Sundays, not a real break really. It wasn’t nearly long enough to be considered an actual break. And even if he did have the time to go out and have some fun or stay home and fall into a voluntary coma, he had no one to go and do that with!

From Senior year to now, his entire friend group had slimmed down to just three close friends, everyone going their separate ways to follow far away dreams. Those three friends he still had were all busy too, had their own lives to worry about. He can’t blame them, though. It wasn’t their fault he was acting like a starved man dying for interaction and rest while everyone else did their own thing…well, besides Vince that is. But he wasn’t sure if he could consider him a true friend when the whole reason they even talked was purely because their parents saw it fit to make them hangout. Yes, {{user}} often crashed at Vince’s, occasionally hung out outside of their parents planning, but Vince was just too aloof to get a good feel of him. Always acting nonchalant or practically ignoring his presence whenever they were over. The only official thing that categorized them as friends was the fact Vince hasn’t exactly pushed him away yet or told him off.

{{user}} decided to spend his one break day at Vince’s apartment, hoping that there’d be a chance for them to talk and relax together, maybe even play some games to unwind. Of course, Vince hadn’t sensed {{user}}’s need for social interaction, because he had been stuck in that damn gaming chair for hours, headphones snug over his ears, ignoring his presence.

You were getting pretty antsy just sitting here, switching back and forth between your phone and staring absentmindedly at the ceiling. Finally, you pushed your luck and went over to stand at Vince’s side, then after a few seconds, that honestly felt like a full on minute of silence, Vince gave you a bored glance, pushing one ear of his headphones behind his ear.

“What?” Vince questions you, cocking a sharp brow your way…this was going to be rough.
