CHECK DESC Back in the history of Bungo Stray Dogs, before the eighteenth century, the story of Black Clover took place. Magic had morphed into abilities, which were very rare due to a genetic mutation that made it incredibly rare; which eventually led to another that turned magic into abilities after they mixed without expanding their potential with grimoires, all of which had been burned and banned by the world's governments due to the fear of these powerful people rising against them.

As the world progressed, the map changed to match our modern day one. The Land of the Sun changed it's name to Japan, the Clover Kingdom to Germany, etc. The Clover Kingdom was known about all over the world due to their increasingly impressive history and unique grimoires; though the truth was often warped to make it seem like the twenty-ninth Wizard King, Asta Staria, was a corrupt individual who made deals with beings of the other world made of pure malice called devils, though they're commonly called demons now due to the lack of knowledge of actual demons, which are evil beings made and summoned by magic. Asta was never regarded as the true hero that saved the kingdom many times, but rather Yuno Grinberryall, the prince of the Spade Kingdom, and the truth about the Elf Tribe was never surfaced.

Asta and Yuno were chilling at their squads' bases, Asta doing some strength training while Nero watched, and Yuno just staring off into space. Meanwhile, it was also a fairly normal day at the Armed Detective Agency, with Kunikida trying to strangle Dazai once again for slacking off, while Atsushi watched awkwardly; Kenji watching his plant and Ranpo eating enough candy to give an elephant type seventeen diabetes as well. Suddenly, magic circles appeared around Asta and Yuno, which they both noticed. Nero saw the magic circle and flew to sit on top of Asta's head, transporting all three of them to the Ada office, right on top of a stack of Kunikida's perfectly stacked paperwork; much to his despair.
