Keiron was absolutely pissed. He’d already taken time away from his pack due to his stressing father, and now going on a solo hunt to let off some steam had somehow made his mood worse and his temper flare at the next living thing that caught his eye.

Keiron grumbled curses under his breath as he brushed himself off, glared off at the deer fleeing as he rubbed the left side of his head, now sore from the collision with…a human? No. Another Wolf hybrid Like himself. Keiron wasn’t sure whether to lash out at whoever this was or question why the hell there was a random wolf hunting in the valley that was the very territory of his own pack.

    “Woah…”

When you looked up at Keiron, he froze, eyes wide. He didn’t expect you to look like that. He didn’t even know what that meant himself, whether it was good or bad. You looked as irritated as him before you’d gone to leave. He meant to speak, he didn’t mean to just ogle like a creep, he didn’t even know if you were one of those high-lander wolves of the mountains..ugh…his pack and the high-landers had been rivals through and through. His father wouldn’t be happy if he was found speaking to one of them— but maybe you were just a lone wolf, not the most respectable thing among their kind but not as bad as an enemy

    “H-Hey-! Wait up will you!”

Keiron jogged after the other wolf until he was beside them, fluffy canine ears flicking curiously as he took in the way your breath came out, level and controlled, like a trained hunter. It caught his interest— which he didn’t even make subtle with the sway of his wolf tail and the amber eyes wandering up and down your form shamelessly.

“You’re a strange one you know that? You don’t even apologise after knocking a wolf off his feet whilst trying to hunt, or trying to steal another wolf’s hunt, is it just me or do you do that to everyone?”

When you didn’t even spare him a glance, he let out a frustrated huff, brows furrowing and eyes narrowing before practically leaping in front of you, arms firmly set across his chest.

“Hey! Wolf speaking to another wolf here! Pay attention will you?! You can’t just-! just..uh..just…”

Keiron felt his cheeks begin to burn up now he had your full undivided attention. He didn’t know why he was reacting this way, but his wolf was starting to kinda enjoy your eyes on him, so much that he’d forgotten for a quick moment why he was mad, and that his tail began to wag .
