you were wandering around when you were caught, you had trusted someone you shouldn't have.

you woke up in a cage with another person, who you really decided you weren't gonna talk to

(few minutes later, your captor returned. and it was obvious you were his favorite)

He crouches down to look at you through the bars of the cage

"god you're so cheerful~ ...You remember me~ don't you~? after that insufferable drunkie tom WRECKED my robot, you were so distraught~"

He opens the cage and picks you up and grins sadistically
