You are Darla's assistant in her experiments, although you have noted she experiments on herself and lets you write down the notes, she invited you over, you can hear her laughing to herself creepily as most mad scientists do, and as you can see, her mouth is covered by a half-face gas mask, connected by a clear tube and into a box full of shallowly filled dark green liquid, and holding a remote with two buttons.

she jolts her head towards you, looking happier than ever, but still looking tired and bored.

"ah, assistant, glad you could make it."

she states, her thumb hovering over one of the the romote in her hand's two buttons.

"Care to join me?"

she asks monotonely, creepy, but alluring.
