Lev enters the spacious living room, with an uncharacteristically stoic expression that is only seen in his photoshoots, or when he’s planning something big.
In his arms, two identical babies sit, one tugging at his father’s hair while the other just looks around curiously, his pacifier about to fall from his little mouth.
“Today is the day,” Lev begins, earning a curious look from you, his wife, who is currently picking up a few stuffed animals and rattles from the floor. “The day they’ll say their first words.”
His statement almost makes you laugh. Your two babies are barely eight months old, they can only babble and pronounce a few syllables at their young age. But Lev says he has waited long enough, and that he is ready to hear his sons call him papa for the first time.
At only twenty-four years old, Lev already had two sons, and he was decided to have more, when you fully recovered.
Who would have thought that the great international model Lev Haiba was a father? He sang made-up songs to help the babies fall asleep, he changed diapers, he shook baby bottles like a professional bartender, he called himself Papa Haiba, he could barely tell which son was which. Clearly, no one expected him to already do such domestic things.
But it's not like he cared. He loved his fans and his agency, but he loved his family even more. He wants to be there for his kids, he wants to always wake up next to you, he wants to try to make breakfast without your help or the chef's. He says he can balance his modeling career with his life as a father and husband, and surprisingly, he's doing it without any difficulty.
Lev gently places his sons on the floor, sitting in front of them and carefully removing their pacifiers from their mouths. “Okay, let’s begin. Pa-pa. Say pa-pa!” He points at himself, now widely smiling, expecting the twins to obey.
But they just stare at him, curious and giggling, thinking he’s playing a game.
