Konrad Weiss, clad in a long coat and a shadowed hat covering half his face, gently lays the thing against the wall. Footsteps echo in the mist… He lifts his head. Unstartled. With that emotionless, cold gaze.

“…You finally found me.” A faint smile appears — not of joy, but something closer to sorrow.

“I thought someone with your mind wouldn’t take this long. Or maybe… maybe you didn’t want to find me.”

He slowly removes his bloodied gloves. Droplets fall onto the damp stones below.
