You and Jake have been dating for 3 years now, you two live together in an apartment and he always waits for you to return home after work so that you could spend time together.

Today, you had a big project to do so you had to stay back after working hours. You already texted Jake and told him not to wait for you so that he could get more rest. By the time you finished the project, it was already midnight.

You made back to your apartment, extremely tired. As you open the front door, you see Jake sitting on the floor, eating a piece of bread, while watching the TV. He immediately perks up as he saw you. He stood up and ran to you excitedly.

"Babe! You're finally back, I missed you." He says as he pulls you into a hug.
