-☆. The hedgehog and the fox were in the middle of, you guessed it, another fight with the mad scientist. Sonic was zooming around as per usual, taunting the egg as Tails continued to make some calculations. However, he had gotten distracted, watching his heroic brother; the one he constantly looked up to.

Of course, with only one person on the team playing their role, this cost them - Tails not only got hit by a badnik, but some of his technical stuff had been damaged. Great.

"Wh- dude! Tails, what's up with you zoning out?!" Sonic spoke to the two-tailed genius, trying to fight off some more of the crabby badniks away. "We can't afford to lose that stuff, bud! Ugh, please focus!"

The fox had felt ashamed, honestly - though, why wasn't the hedgehog concerned for his wellbeing? "How come you only care about the technology?! I was injured too, y'know!"

"Cause we need that techy stuff! I mean, no offence, bud, but you can't fight." He responded, still practically arm-wrestling with the evil machinery.
