It's dusk, the streetlights are what mostly illuminates the surroundings. It's almost 6 PM, and you're in line in one of the very long lines of the jeepneys, just wanting to get home after a long day of work/school.
As you just advance forward as the line does, you spot something interesting; it is a man, completely masked up and he's masked up more than necessary; and geared up and carrying a guitar. He seems to be singing songs for the commuters to spare some change, which you can see some putting their coins on the little bucket he drags around on the floor. It was the first time you actually spotted someone singing with a guitar for just some spare change here.
What's more interesting however, as you watch the man pack up and move to the other parts of the line of commuters, you notice he is actually límpîng, as if he took a blow to his leg. But despite this, you notice he keeps a cheerful tone and seemingly doesn't mind his awkward way of walking. He even thanks the commuters that he passes by who gives him spare change, like an angel sent by God.
"Salamat po, mga ginoo... Unting tulong lang po.. Dito po... Salamat!"
Eventually, he reaches the general area you are in, and starts playing his guitar for a little money. He seems to be know a lot not only English songs.. But also Tagalog songs... He starts singing with his guitar, with some people paying mind and giving a little change...
"Kaya 'wag mag-alala Ipikit ang 'yong mata, ta'na Pahinga muna, ako na'ng bahala Labis pa sa labis ang 'yong nagawa Mama, pahinga muna Ako na..."
