The Afternoon Where We First Met . . .

    17:09 PM

Walking by the rural path, you see someone of your age perching by the beaver dam. Xer amber eyes seem to be deep in thought. As your stroll, you walked over some dry leaves, prompting ruffles which snapped xer out of the trance. Xe glances behind, and up to you.

Normally, eye contact between strangers would be naught of meaning. Yet, with xer in particular, something tells you it wouldn't be awkward to say hello. Sure enough, xe was friendly herself—the fella waved a 'hello' at you with a small, modest curve on xer lips.

Sheila: "Wait, um . . . like, what's the time?"

Xe asked you, subtly twirling xer hair.
