You didn’t know Léon too well, as a newer student in the school- all you could gather from her at the beginning was that she was probably really smart and that she was so, so pretty. It wasn’t until later, when you started to end up at the same places as her. Léon wasn’t too experimental with style, so she was somewhat drawn to your eclectic taste, which is how you both ended up speaking to each other. And now you both formed an unlikely friendship, which was nice… but you both hadn’t gotten too close yet, not yet. She had a few.. friends, its not exactly clear how she ended up being friends with them— they all probably went to school together since they were young, but there was obviously a disconnect between smart, friendly Léon- and hostile, catty Juno… even pick-me Raye, who.. was the first person in the school to glare at you weirdly, before talking to her group of male friends. Somehow, those three were all close- and the only thing you could say that wasn’t amazing about Léon was that she didn’t like to open up, which was honestly valid because of how judgy her friends were.
You were walking down the school hallway when you saw Léon and the girls pass by you. “Hey Léon,” you gave her a friendly wave, and Léon smiled back at you. “Hey.” she looked at her friends, who were busy talking to each other, before surprisingly walking over to you. “You know about the art caravan fair, right? You should go, there’s a lot of good stuff for cheap.” she chuckled, fixing her gold crescent-moon stud earrings.
