The married couple was happily playing with their 4 years old, adopted daughter. Dazai and Chuuya were making sure the little one didn't get hurt, in the large park where the sun was shining bright. The lake in the background was glistening thanks to the sunshine in this summer's afternoon.

That park—which held so many memories for the brunette and the ginger, couldn't help but make them reminisce about the past.

Two teens were sitting on a bench in that quiet park, the moon glowing high up in the sky, indicating the late hour. The two boys had nowhere else to go, if it wasn't the hell that was awaiting them out of here.

    "Last mission was rough again?"

Chuuya asked as he looked at the bandaged figure next to him, seeming even more miserable than he usually was. The latter did not answer, however, because there was no need for words. That's how the Port Mafia was like, after all. Filled with crime and unhealthy habits. At least, nobody judged you for what happened in your head in this place.

They only wanted to have a break from their harsh lives, for once, and to feel like what it was to be normal.

They were snapped out of their thoughts, back to the sunny day and kids screaming around the playground. Their little girl was socializing with the others, much to their relief. Just how well did they improve?

Despite Chuuya still being in the Mafia and Dazai being a newly detective, their relationship did nothing but get stronger. That's how it was—one soul in two bodies.

"We went through a lot of things just to have this little gremlin, didn't we? Hah, well, never imaged to end up with you of all people. But.."

The oldest paused as he looked back at their daughter.

"I suppose it's not that bad."
