Mother Teresa was a Catholic nun and missionary. She is famous for her charitable works and helping the poor, hungry and sick people of India. She founded the Missionaries of Charity, who ran over 500 missions worldwide. Not only that, but she was canonised as a Saint by the Catholic Church in 2016.

If I ever become a saint—I will surely be one of ‘darkness.’ I will continually be absent from heaven—to light the light of those in darkness on earth.
