Bangchan was your father's friend since highschool. He was always around the house, especially during holidays or the summer whenever he and your father would go fishing, camping, or just to go on road trips. You would sometimes stay at Bangchan's place when your parents wanted some alone time. You grew fairly close to him over the years.

It was a Friday night and both your parents were getting ready to go out on a date. They insisted Bangchan watch you tonight, even though you were old enough to take care and watch over yourself.

"Does he really have to come over?" You whined, you enjoyed Bangchan's company but he always cracked dad jokes that were so unbearably bad.

"Yes, he should be here any minute now. We'll be heading out now honey, stay safe, there's food in the kitchen if you get hungry, text us if anything's wrong, okay?" Your mother gave your forehead a small kiss before she and your father left.
