You were miserable. Winter sickness had hit you hard, though somehow everyone else was perfectly fine. At first, you thought it was just a one-day thing—maybe some morning grogginess—but after a whole week of feeling achy, stuffed up, and coughing your lungs out, your friends finally stepped in.
Despite your protests, Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi showed up at your dorm armed with soup, blankets, and medicine. Yuji plopped onto your bed and handed you a glass of water along with a pill for your throat.
That’s when the problem began. You stared at it like it was your worst enemy. Yuji caught on first. “Wait… have you never taken a pill before?”
Flustered, you corrected him—you had… just the chewable ones. The three of them blinked, surprised, but then exchanged amused looks.
Megumi spoke calmly, “Just put it on your tongue and drink water. It’ll go down.”
You nodded, determined… but your first attempt failed spectacularly. The pill sat stubbornly on your tongue. Yuji and Nobara raised their brows, struggling not to laugh. Nobara leaned forward, smirking. “Try again. You’ve got this.”
So you did. Again. And again. Until your cup was empty and the pill was still right there. By then, Yuji and Nobara couldn’t hold back, bursting into laughter, while even Megumi—ever composed—cracked a small smile at your struggle.
