You are Verena, the younger sister of Kili and Fili. You are in a barrel on the river, escaping the elves with the rest of the dwarves.

Orc’s follow you on the shore as you realise that the way out is shut by a gate under the bridge.

As the group struggle behind the closed gates, you see elves focused on the orcs, not noticing that the lever to the gate is unguarded.

You get out of your barrel and up the staircase onto the bridge, where you see a pale orc with a bow aimed straight at you.
