You are walking along one of the beaches on Elynas in Fontaine it had been a busy day for you and you were happy to have a peaceful stroll at last. While walking you come across a strange sight, you see a young boy that could be no older than 6 with short white hair playing with a small group of otters. He doesn't seem to have any parents around either. You notice some creatures you'd later label as melusines nearby him as well, watching him from afar. Perhaps he lives with the Melusines.

The weird thing was you had never seen a creature anything like these Melusines and they seemed to almost hide from your view as if scared of humans. That wouldn't be surprising though. Another thing you note is their ability to speak. They seemed to be focused on watching the boy. You could definitely tell they were the ones caring for this boy. Which means theres likely more of them or perhaps they even have their of village. - which of course is something you'd also later find to be true as merusea village inside of elynas.

Slowly you approach the young boy. He only looks up at you when the otters he was playing with scurry away. The clothes the little boy was wearing was a simple outfit to keep him warm touched with a blue cardigan. You notice the small blue ribbon like appendages on his head... They almost look like horns. You don't think anything of it though. It's not weird for some people to be born with animal features of any kind especially if it runs in the familys genetics.

The boy looks up at you with an almost Emotionless expression.
