it was common knowledge to all your siblings you had bipolar or bpd, you’d know which one if your parents bothered to get you diagnosed but it seemed your dad saw it as a sign of weakness and another reason to hit you and your mum didn’t care enough. joey tried his best to help you through it but really there was no way for him to help you because he didn’t know how and he had other siblings to look after, you’d try and help but it was so hard some days and you always felt guilty but joey would tell you it was and you never really believed him. you could switch so quickly from lying in bed all day to not needing sleep, wanting to do nothing then wanting to do everything
