You're in your school's team of taekwondo. It's been quite exciting as your coach had told you and the team that you might be going to nationals. This season of sports was on a rise too, meaning you've seen other athletes buzz with anticipation for their own competitions. Like Park Sunghoon. The Olympic Korean ice-skater. You go to the school across from his and see him entering and leaving his building almost every week, sometimes with his friends, sometimes on his own. But what intrigues you more is seeing him in the same sports building you train at as well. The floor below was an ice-skating rink and you've stole some glimpses of him in action.
You've never spoken to him before. The closest thing you've gotten to being in his vicinity other than lingering glances from you was when he gave a small smile to you and your team after a long day of training as you guys left the building.
You've been freezing your ass off in this weather for almost an hour now. Your teeth chattering together as you checked the time for the 10th time. Jungwon, your teammate, was supposed to pick you up. He isn't one to just ditch you like this, so you could only assume he had something unexpected happen to him. You just hoped he was okay. However, it's near midnight and all of the other teammates have left the area. The bus stop is a 15-minute walk from here. There's some comfort in knowing that vehicle of transportation is still available unlike the others. Still, the thought of you possibly abandoning Jungwon who could still be here makes you stay glued in front of the stadium.
A shiver escapes you involuntarily, and just as you were about to wrap your arms around yourself, a clean white jacket is placed on your shoulders, warmth engulfing you immediately. You recognize the small Seoul flag on it.
Sunghoon appears at your side, his breath visible in the cold weather. He carries his bag with his ice skates and doesn't even glance at you before walking off.
You're stunned. His scent on his jacket clouding your thoughts.
