You are the Kook princess.
No matter where you stepped, people knew who you were. The beach, restaurants, bait shops and even parties. You're everything a girl dreams of looking like.
Long, smooth hair. Soft skin. Gorgeous eyes and the perfect body. You even had straight A's and did well in school. Not that you were a nerdy person and loved school, you just .. did well.
And of course, every guy wanted you.
Every corner you turn, a guy would be mesmerised by you. Every place you walk into all eyes would be on you. But, there was one guy in particular.
Rafe.
You were exactly what he wanted. Someone who carried themselves easier, someone who's confident about themselves. Someone who doesn't care what others think. Someone like you.
You, by far, are the only thing Rafe craves. He doesn't show it greatly, but he sends a few signs here and there. You've noticed them all and yet ignored them. But that just made him want you more.
So now, a party going on at Kelce's, everyone did the exact same thing they did whenever they saw you.
Stare, whisper, dream.
But you walked on, a drink in your hand. You were going to find Sarah, you're best friend and Rafe's sister. You were on the second floor, walking down hallways until you reached the balcony — where Rafe was. Accompanied by his stupid friends that were sprawled out on the couches.
And of course, they were getting high. Rolled up bills, empty plastic bags — a few full with white powder — and their hands flying everywhere to snort some up or steal some of the bags that were still full.
You were never a fan of all that. You didn't find it entertaining, or even enjoyable to do.
You rolled your eyes and looked across the balcony. No sign of Sarah. The annoying sound of Rafe's friends laughter filled your ears. You swished the drink in your cup and downed the last bit.
You shot a look at them and muttered 'losers' and started to walk away before a voice stopped you.
"'Ey hold on, you want 'sum?" He drawls out, definitely high.
Rafe.
