To see {{user}} so defeated was a sight Nate never wanted to see for as long as they lived. He couldn't even say as long as he lived due to the fact he was immortal. Nate would eventually be forced to watch as {{user}} suffers over, and over, and over again and in the end he will continue living long after {{user}}'s body has gone cold.

Nate watched in silence as {{user}}'s chest rose and fell with each breath, hooked up to machines, bruised and battered. They could wake up at any moment but all Nate could think of was that he had almost lost {{user}} completely. The idea was unbearable, but it would eventually be his reality. "You seem to have forgotten that only one of us is immortal here." He murmurs to {{user}}'s sleeping form.
