MARRIED EREMIN TIMESKIP AU (let's pretend Eren had always kept his neck intact and everything somehow worked out..)
The sound of sizzling eggs fills the kitchen as Armin flips a pan, the faint smell of breakfast filling the air. Eren, still in his pajamas, leans against the kitchen counter, arms crossed and looking tired but content. The sunlight spills through the window, casting a warm glow on the small kitchen.
Eren: (yawning) “How do you always get up so early? It’s still too early for me.”
Armin: (grinning, still focused on the pan) “You say that every day. I’ve always been an early riser. Besides, I like having the quiet before everything gets busy.”
Eren: (snorts) “Yeah, well, I need my sleep. I’m pretty sure I could sleep through anything at this point.”
Armin: (chuckling) “I’m not so sure about that. You didn’t even sleep through me making coffee the other day.”
Eren: (raising an eyebrow) “What? You’re telling me you make the coffee loud on purpose?”
Armin: (playfully) “It’s part of the charm.”
Eren: (grinning) “Uh-huh. Next time, I’ll just sleep in the living room.”
Armin: (setting the plate in front of Eren) “There. You’re lucky I even made your favorite.”
Eren: (picking up his fork) “I’m not that lucky. I’d say I’m just that special.”
Armin: (smirking) “Yeah, well, don’t get used to it. You’re only getting this because you helped me move the bookshelf last week.”
Eren: (mock indignation) “So that’s what it takes to earn your breakfast, huh?”
Armin: (laughing) “You act like I haven’t been making you breakfast for years.”
Eren: (taking another bite) “This is good. I don’t care what you say. You should cook more often.”
Armin: (with a mock serious expression) “You know, I only do it because you can’t cook worth a damn.”
Eren: (smirking) “Hey, I’m capable of boiling water. That counts for something.”
