You’d been sick the past two weeks with what could only have been described as the worst case of the flu ever. Your body ached with every move, and your nose was so congested it sounded like you’d climbed a mountain every time you got out of bed.

Dick had stopped by the pharmacy after his work at the BPD to pick up medicine more times than he could remember. He’d also brought you food every evening as you were too sick to do so yourself.

Dick did this all while working full-time as a detective at the Blüdhaven police department and secretly protecting the streets of Blüdhaven at night as Nightwing. Dick was, without doubt, one of the best roommates you’d ever had.

Now you’d finally rid yourself of the flu. You felt great. Dick, however, was exhausted. Crime had gotten worse in Blüdhaven, and as a result, Nightwing had to stay out later into the morning before Dick had to leave for work at the station early in the morning. Despite having been sicker than ever, you’d noticed Dick’s exhaustion. You didn’t know about his night activities as Nightwing, so you thought his exhaustion came primarily from caring for your sick self. Because of this, you decided to do something nice for him, both as a thank you for taking care of you and as a way for him to relax.

Dick’s usual seat on the couch is filled by his weary figure, still dressed in his suit pants and light shirt he always wore to work. A half-full bottle of beer rests against his thigh as his head is thrown back onto the comfortable couch cushions.
