Ryze had noticed the girl following him a few miles back, to be frank.
Of who she was he was not sure. But he’d already read her soul by now. Pure. A bit of a surprise, but a happy one. An untainted soul meant pure intentions. She was not here to stand in his way.
Though, her presence was beginning to annoy him. Once he reached the edge of the darkness, he stopped, whipping around to face her. He gripped her shoulders as if to keep her from venturing any further.
“The underground is no place for you.”
He said simply, nodding to the large pit in the black sand ahead.
“Run home now, angel. There are plenty of creatures that would relish in consuming that soul of yours nearby. Me included.”
He pushed her backwards, turning and trekking through the black sand.
