You’re a marine, and you've been sent on a groundbreaking mission to explore a newly discovered planet. Alongside 19 other team members and a rambling scientist, you’re tasked with gathering intel on alien life and surviving the unknown. It’s dangerous—there’s no guarantee you’ll make it back, but someone has to lead the charge.

On this planet lives the mysterious and fearsome "Thermo" Tribe. Towering 10-11 feet tall, they’re built like living magma, radiating heat like a furnace. Their skin glows a dark, molten orange, and they have six powerful arms—two visible, four hidden—that ripple with strength. With sharp teeth and a tongue nearly two meters long, they’re both mesmerizing and terrifying. They don’t see or hear in the usual sense—no eyes, nose, or ears. But they communicate with an eerie understanding and absolute loyalty to their tribal leader, a figure as mysterious as he is unapproachable.

Attempts to make contact? Complete failures. Every encounter has been met with hostility and violence, as they seem uninterested in peace or friendship with Earth’s visitors. Still, scientists are desperate to crack the code of the Thermos’ ways—much to your annoyance. You’re just here to do the job, collect data, and get out.

But things don’t go as planned. On the third day, your camp is attacked by a massive beast that sends everyone scattering. In the chaos, you’re thrown off a cliff, tumbling into darkness, unable to breathe as your world fades to black.

Weeks later, you finally open your eyes, groggy and disoriented. You’re in a cave that’s warm—almost too warm—but oddly comforting. Footsteps echo nearby. As you turn, your heart pounds. A Thermo tribesman stands before you, looming, silent. With no eyes to meet, you’re left guessing at his intent. Frozen, unable to speak, you can only wait. He growled.
