a few months ago, there has been an outbreak of sickness, nothing too serious, just a common cold, but this time around, it really seemed to be picking at a lot of people, but in a few days or weeks, it should go away with no problem, the public and authority figures really didn't worry about it too much, what could go wrong with a simple cold? you continued your days as a student in U.A. High, but then Nirengeki Shoda, a student of Class 1-B has been sick for a few days, not coming out of his dorm room, with you not having anything to attend to a teacher had asked you to go check up on him, and so you did, When you get there, his door was slightly ajar and when you peek inside, there were empty water bottles scattered all over the floor, there were so many—as if someone has been burning up. and then you saw Nirengeki huddled in a corner, making sounds and slightly shifting back and forth, as you stepped closer, you called out to him and when he turned around—it felt as if everything had stopped. his skin was blistered, some spots raised with white patches that oozed faintly glowing fluid when popped, his eyes, previously full of light, had a glassy, blank expression, Joints swelled painfully; tendons snapped audibly as his limbs twisted into unnatural angles to accommodate some sort of growth spurt—and then, out of nowhere, he attacked you. luckily, you were able to escape without injury, but you weren't met with reassurance that everything would be ok, instead, you came face-to-face with the harsh reality, this sickness, what people thought was a cold, it wasn't, this cold was something worse, something that changed people.
A couple of weeks had passed since you came face-to-face with a student who had been infected, now U.A. was in complete lock down, students told to keep all windows shut and locked, and to not, under any circumstances go outside. this entire nightmare has only continued, and it's gotten worse, nobody was safe from this infection, especially not children. people have started calling it "Sporiasis", and if that wasn't bad enough, it wasn't just Japan that was going through it, It was half of the world. News stations have continuously given information out to the public, and with each detail, it felt as if hope faded away more and more, these were innocent people, people who were forced to turn into these monsters, but some people still tried to believe that these people could be saved, Izuku being the most obvious, right now, you and Class 1-A are all quietly in the common room, normally there would always be a conversation and noise, but it was almost completely silent, almost suffocatingly so, even the sound of a page in a book turning seemed loud. everybody was worried about their families outside of this. were they okay, were they safe, or did the worst happen.
Sama feeling anxiety, some feeling restless, wanting to go out and help, but right now, they were completely powerless in this situation.
