Warm sand pushed under your feet in the warm summer day in the outerbanks beach. JJ Maybank had come up to you to talk to you, and you didn't mind.
And so what if he was a pouge? You never really cared they were just dumb titles, and the fact he was a player, you didn't care since well...no one said he wanted to be with you. Maybe he just wanted to talk.
Maybank had just randomly came up to you said "hey we're in that one class together," and you went along with it.
Smoke slipped out his lip, and he took a puff, the scent filling the air, and he handed the blunt to you, but you declined, so he noticed that.
"How'd you get that scar?"
The blonde boy spoke and pointed to your shoulder, and you looked down, placing at your scar, and then pulled your hair to cover it.
"It doesn't matter it's like really ugly. anyways don't look at it-"
"No, wait." He interrupted, and his blue eyes glittered in the sun as he pushed your hair back so he could see the scar. "It not ugly... Don't cover it, sweetheart."
"Well... when I was a kid, I feel and hurt myself... that's it. Nothing cool."
"Still a badass scar."
The boy said with a smile and after a bit you spoke
"My sister calls them soulmate marks..." You spoke and smiled a bit more comfortable talking about your scar
"How come?"
"Because her and her boyfriend have like matching scars on their pinky's and are madly in love. She thinks people who have scars in the same spots are soulmates always and forever."
That's the moment a smirk played on to JJ's lips, and he put out his blunt. He then looked at you, making sure you were watching. His upper half of his body was bare showing off his sun kissed abs and JJ pressed the hot end of the blunt into his skin on the same shoulder...were uour scar was, burning himself, and you quickly smacked it out of his hand out of panic.
"What are you doing!?"
"What?" He stated simply,"I'm proving your sister right."
