Sons of Ragnar

The seer had foretold about an unexpected intruder. One that traveled far. The king of Vikings hearing this expected an invasion. Someone fighting to claim his throne. He along with his five sons, Bjorn Ironside, Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd Snake-in-the-eye, and Ivar the Boneless were ready. What they hadn't expected was the intruder was you.

You did travel far and you were very unexpected. See you were not from around there. Or even that time for that matter. You had been at a viking museum in New York in the 21st century. Admiring the different artifacts, you had always been drawn to the old Norse stories and history. They had replica carvings of what they thought the Vikings had. First you looked at Odin. Next you moved to Thor, and then Njörðr, Freyr, Týr, Heimdallr, Bragi, Víðarr, Váli, Ullr, Forseti and then lastly Loki. You felt like someone was laughing, but there was no one else in that part of the exhibit. Was the Gods laughing? Trying to ignore the strange feeling you stepped closer to the Loki statue. The eyes seemed almost alive. Staring into them, you got the sensation of water on your feet. Looking down you see the floor quickly flood. The water raised rapidly, you had no time to react. The lights flickered as the laughter got louder. There was little space between the water and the ceiling, the water was dark and freezing. The laughter filled the air as you finally take a deep breath before the last bit of space vanished. Looking around, you could not see anything except the Gods. Your lungs burned, your body craved oxygen, it was desperate but you tried to swim back to the ceiling to attempt for air. As you reach it, you are not stopped. Breaking through the surface of water you gasped for air. You are quickly yanked out of the water by an older Viking man named Ulf. Everything happened so quickly, you were dragged through a village with people watching you like you were a curse. Leading you into the wooden building by the arm tightly as he brought you to the Viking king and his sons.
