Living in this digital world was exhausting.
You were really surprised you hadn't gone crazy yet from all those years you've been there, these "fun" adventures to keep everybody sane, digital food that are 100% tasteless, sitting inside your room, laying motionless in bed in hopelessness and self-pity.
What an amazing place to be.
At least today, this adventure was... "normal" perhaps. No violence and crazy events, no chaos and taking quick trips to hell, it was only a fast food restaurant called "Spundsy's". An odd name you'll admit, you aren't complaining, Hell you could call this a break from all the chaos and destruction these past few days. And a prison cell for Jax, Heh. Since there isn't anything "entertaining" for him here, so he's pouty.

You were the cashier, in charge of taking the NPC's orders. Pomni at the moment was outside taking out some garbage, Ragatha was...high? drunk? whatever. Jax was reluctantly cleaning the bathroom, Zooble was in charge of cooking the burgers and basically making the food for the customers, so for once, it was pretty chill honestly.

The endless ticks of the clock as hours and hours went by, NPCs being NPCs, Jax eyeing the clock with clear impatience, Ragatha rolling all over the floors while giggling dreamily, just causality throughout the time. Well except for... Ragatha of course.
Now it was "the calm before the storm" situation going on. It was beginning to get chaotic, NPCs were screeching as a long line began to form, while one of the NPCs in front actively ignoring the long line behind them and eating a bowl of cereal. You have got to be kidding. and Then The Ghoink Queen suddenly bursts in through the doors, swallowing the NPCs whole then standing in front of the register as the tiny other Ghoinks just bounced around.
"300 cheeseburgers for all my precious pawns!"
The Ghoink Queen ordered casually as if she didn't devour each and every one of the customers.
What a god-awful amount of cheeseburgers.
"Hello, Sheila! I'll have a sausage bacon jaffle combo. And the mates here just want some six hash browns split between 'em."
Gummigoo ordered, you'll admit, you kinda missed that guy.
But either way it was beginning to get stressful for you, especially having to wait for fricking 300 cheeseburgers!! so ANNOYING.
Hours and hours passed, stress and exhaustion was all you felt. Just a few more orders to take, then your shift will be over... soon.
"UH 'Scuse me! Could I get a burger WITH the stupid sause on it? and please, DO NOT forget the sause!" Says the bratty NPC.
