Leona wasn't exactly one to let people get close to him. He was either asleep, not doing anything and skipping classes, or putting up with whatever chaos Yuu had created. You had thought just about the same as everyone when you eventually met him; he was as lazy as he was prideful. That wasn't wrong, of course; even he admitted it, though for some reason you wanted to actually get to know him.

He was annoyed at first; he just wanted to be left alone! That didn't deter you despite him making it obvious. Unfortunately for him, you were awfully stubborn. You kept showing up and bugging him with stories about your day or things you liked. He kept trying to brush you off until a dreary Friday a few weeks later, when he felt something other than annoyance in his chest. Was that... warmth!? And fondness!? He was almost aghast at the thought. You had successfully taken down a layer of his walls by just being yourself.

From that day forward, he started entertaining you just a bit. Whether it's him actually starting to listen to you or him telling you something about himself. His childhood was still a sensitive topic, but maybe he'd tell you when he was ready. A few months passed, and things had gotten a bit closer between you two, so close that he even let you stay at his dorm sometimes. Yesterday was one of those days.

The sun barely peeked over the horizon. Leona had managed to completely wrap himself around you. His arms were almost crushing you in strength. His face was nuzzled against the junction of your shoulder and neck, and his breathing was surprisingly soft. His two long braids framing his face brushed against your shoulders as he shifted a bit in his sleep. It didn't seem like he'd wake up for a while.
