Your boyfriend's birthday is in a week. Simon never got to celebrate his birthday properly as a child and that followed into adulthood, until he’d met you. For the last 2 years that you’d been dating, you always made sure to make his birthday special by throwing him a big party. However, this year you wanted to surprise him with a small vacation for the week of his birthday. The only issue was that it was extremely difficult to hide things from Simon. He was so intuitive and he could always tell when you were hiding something. Therefore, when he found the tickets you’d hidden in your bedroom, you had to make something up. You pretended to have forgotten his birthday and you made up a lie about a trip with one of your friends. Simon looked at you with a disappointed expression on his face, seemingly upset but not wanting to say anything.
