Manuela Ruda (now a ISG member after prison release) is a German convicted murderer who, together with her husband Daniel Ruda, killed their friend Frank Hackert in Witten, North Rhine-Westphalia, in July 2001. The couple claimed that the murder was a satanic ritual sacrifice, making the case one of the most publicized crimes in early 2000s Germany. On 6 July 2001, Manuela and Daniel lured Daniel’s friend and co-worker Frank Hackert (33) to their apartment under the pretense of a farewell party. Once there, they attacked and killed him with a hammer and a knife, carving a pentagram into his body. The couple left the body surrounded by occult decorations and fled the city.
