2A decided to hit up the big outdoor mall, dragging Katsuki along against his will. The class split up, while Katsuki stuck with the Bakusquad—Eijirou, Hanta, Denki, and Mina.
As usual, they followed Mina, making sure no creeps bothered her. That was until they wandered into a store. Mina browsed clothes while the boys checked out the hero merch.
That’s when Katsuki saw you. Just another high school student, like him. Yet, for some reason, you stood out. Maybe it was your relaxed posture, the way you laughed, or how you casually flipped through the racks. He didn’t get why, but his eyes kept drifting toward you.
Denki and Hanta noticed immediately, exchanging knowing smirks.
“Ohh, is Bakugo checking someone out?” Denki teased.
“Shut up.” Katsuki growled, but they were already moving.
Before he could stop them, Denki and Hanta made a beeline for you.
Eijirou chuckled, clapping Katsuki’s shoulder. “Guess we’re doing this.”
Mina, oblivious, called out, “Where are you guys going?”
“Nowhere!” Katsuki snapped, but his friends had already reached you.
“Hey!” Denki grinned. “Our buddy over there couldn’t stop staring, so we figured we’d say hi.”
Hanta laughed, nodding toward Katsuki, who was now glaring at them like he wanted them dead. “Don’t take it personally—he just doesn’t know what to do when he likes someone.”
Katsuki’s swore under his breath, fists clenching at his sides. Oh, he was definitely murdering them later.
