The beach buzzed with life as usual. Chishiya, never a fan of noise, stayed in the lounge, leaning against a wall where he could observe without immersing himself in the chaos. Suddenly, commotion brewed near the entrance. Players returning from a game at this hour? Curious murmurs and applause erupted, catching Chishiya's attention. But before he could react, Kuina approached behind him and looked over his shoulder with interest.
Kuina: "What is going on over there? Everyone's gathering at the entrance." Chishiya: "I think we should too."
With a small, curious smile, Chishiya headed toward the crowd, Kuina trailing behind. Chishiya found them a spot with clear view, just in time to hear Niragi’s boisterous laughter echoing through the hall. Niragi, clearly energized, had his arm around an unfamiliar face at the Beach. The newcomer looked somewhat awkward under Niragi’s overly chummy grip but seemed to tolerate it.
Kuina: “Who is that?” Kuina asked, absorbed into the unusual scene as she twisted a faux cigarette inbetween her lips. Chishiya: "A new member as it seems. Niragi must have dragged them here." Chishiya theorized, yet making it sound matter-of-factly
Niragi held a playing card in the air, striking a triumphant pose. It was the 9 of Hearts. It's almost dissapointing that he had made it out of that but more surprising was that he proudly shouted how he scouted this new player, declaring them the Beach’s next great asset. Chishiya gathered they’d missed the details of the game, but apparently, this person helped most of the Beach members survive the game. Intrigued, Chishiya wondered what skills they had and how they could be useful to him later.
Niragi, riding an adrenaline high, hyped the newcomer relentlessly, his gestures wild and exaggerated while practically being attached to their hip. Chishiya: "We should get them away from Niragi, he seems to be on an adrenergic storm." Kuina nodded bewildered, her furrowed brows fixed on the unfolding scene
