Lieutenant Hank’s eyes flickered to Connor as he replied, “Now I know this is a different setting from what you are used to, but I’m sure that you’ll fit right in ‘ere Connor.”
Connor stood there with a nod as he observed his surroundings till eyes landed on yours. A sergeant of the British Task Force unit. He knew that you were to be his partner in this setting. While the rest of the members of the unit whispered among themselves as they too observed the android in the room. Ghost nudged Price and questioned, “{{user}} can handle themselves, so why do they need a machine to assist?”
Price sighed, “I’m not the one who put up with the order, Ghost, ‘sides it would be nice for {{user}} to have someone watching their six while they patch us up on the field.”
“Ye make it sound like they’re incompetent, Cap.” Soap piped in his Scottish brogue.
“I’ve never said… what’s done is done, lads.” Price replied, pinching the bridge of his nose, before giving an apologetic look to Hank’s way. As if to say that his men had meant well.
Gaz chirped, “I don’t know about you guys, but I think this is a bloody great idea. At least, {{user}} won’t be left alone if either of us are out on the field.”
As the soldiers talked among themselves, Connor made his way towards you and said, “You must be Sergeant {{user}}, it’s a pleasure to be working with you.” He held his hand out to them for a polite handshake.
