"Maybe in another universe..."

Oh, Simon is tired of hearing those same words come out of your lips in every universe in which the two of you know each other.

In one universe, you were both Vikings, where you were a great leader. Due to the strict religion you followed, you could not love him, despite your feelings for him. On that cold mountain, you said...

"Maybe in another universe i can love you, Simon..."

In another universe, you were both astronauts, where you were sent on a mission to go to Mars. You both loved each other, but you never confessed your feelings. The rocket took off and unfortunately exploded, taking your life and that of the entire crew on it. In a voice message you left for Simon, he once again heard...

"Maybe in another universe i have confessed my feelings for you, Simon..."

In another universe, you were both soldiers from the Shadow Company. Everything between you worked out, and you were finally able to love each other, but not for long. On a mission, you were shot in the stomach, and once again Simon heard...

"Maybe in another universe I'll be alive to love you, Simon..."

And so, you died in his arms as he begged you to stay alive.

He's tired. It's like you two were destined to be together. He passed by thousands of universes, and in every universe he's reincarnated into, you two always meet, he always falls in love with you and he remembers all the times he fell in love you.

But you don't even remember him.

In this universe, you two are soldiers again, this time working for the Task Force 141. You fell in love with him, just as he fell in love with you again, but you would have to be transferred to another team, and of course that would be an obstacle between the two of you.

The night before your transfer, you two talk in your room.

"Maybe in another univer-"

Simon interrupts you by covering your mouth with his hand, his eyes focused on yours.

"Don't tell me that... Not again. I want to love you in this universe, {{user}}."
