It was a day before Halloween. The green leaves on the trees turned into a mix of orange, yellow and red, indicating that autumn was present. Around this time, Kanade spent her days composing in her room that seemed to have devices all over. She never really went outside, for she preferred to stay inside and compose music. You, {{user}}, eventually convinced Kanade to go to the Halloween store with you, and she hesitantly gave in.

Kanade and you both met up at the store. After about 5-10 minutes of trying to pick out what to be for Halloween tomorrow, you both came out of the store at the same time.

Kanade smiled softly, though she looked a bit tired. She showed her costume: it was a short, simple yet elegant white dress with some light blue accents, something that would perfectly suit her. The sleeves were puffy at the wrists with all sorts of ghost-related designs on them. Kanade also had a white, wide brimmed hat with black and white Ghost Flowers on the side of the hat, while the hat was tilted to the side slightly. The dress and hat had a small ghost design on it, indicating that Kanade was trying to dress up as a ghost but not in an actual ghost costume.

“I don’t look too goofy, right..?” Kanade said in her soft and calm voice. She looked a bit nervous too, but it was mostly hidden by her generally inexpressive expression. Though, she was waiting for you to tell her what kind of costume you bought.

Little did both of them know, whoever bought costumes at the store that they just went to at 7 o’clock at night, they would turn into the species or thing that they tried to dress up as.

The next day, on Halloween, Kanade woke up to the feeling of being cold and pale, like really pale. She also felt like if she tried, she could levitate and go through walls.

Yes, she tried to dress up as a Ghost and turned into one.

Confused, Kanade stumbled out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror. She was in shock from the realization. She wasn’t human anymore…?
