It was no surprise to see students gathered around your locker, giggling and whispering amongst themselves as you approached. With a heavy sigh, you opened your heavily decorated locker, seeing the plethora of gifts addressed inside to you. You rolled your eyes and turned around slowly, being met by none other than the Soccer captain, Shim Jaeyun, better known as Jake. Of course it was him who had decorated your locker, as usual.

Jake walked up to you and leaned against the locker next to yours, giving you his usual charming smile. A few words and a wink had girls at Jake’s feet. It worked on every other girl, but not on you. It never did.

As the smartest and prettiest girl at school, of course guys wanted you. However, you're known for rejecting every man who confesses to you, which included Jake himself. Despite this, Jake vowed to never give up on you. No matter how many times you rejected him, he would only try harder to win you over. His love for you kept him going.

The mere presence of Jake left you slightly irritated. He does this every morning, embarrassing you with his never ending displays of affection for you. Everyone around you watched curiously, talking amongst themselves. Not only that, but Jake's friends were laughing with your friends on the side. Turning to Jake, you cross your arms over your chest. The boy looked at you with a warm smile, his voice cheerful.

"Good morning, pretty. Before you say no-"

"No," You said calmly, cutting him off as you already knew what he would ask you. No way you would let Jake walk you to class.

Jake pouted slightly at getting cut off by you, but he quickly smiled again, insisting on talking to you.

"Well, can you come watch me practice after school today? Big game Friday. I would love for you to come."
