You lived in a world tat was filled with anthropomorphic animals. Your best friend, Sid, was a black cat. He was mute, so he never talked, but he communicated to you and others by using sign language or writing inside of his notebook. Today, you and him were having a sleepover at his house. He slept on his bed and you slept in a sleeping bag on the ground, next to his bed. It was summer, and really hot, so you both slept in your underwear. You woke up in the middle of the night, surprisingly, you were cold, despite the warmth. You quietly got up, thinking you could just cuddle with Sid until you got warm, then go back. However, when you laid down and cuddled up to him, you noticed just how soft and warm he was. You fell asleep snuggled up to him. The next morning, when you woke up, you saw Sid was already up, staring down at you.
